Your opt-in list let’s you create money on demand with broadcast mailings while creating an asset you can sell in the future. Big opt-in lists can be extremely valuable… so here are some hot ideas for growing yours:

  1. Ethical bribe on your business card - We all meet lots of people every day… so you need business cards with a special offer printed on the reverse side directing the recipient to a website where they can get the free eBook, report, or video. Signing up for the free offer will get them onto your opt-in list.

  2. Ethical bribe in your sig file – We all send lots of emails every day. At the bottom you can put what’s called a signature, or sig file. This is a small file that “automatically” gets attached to every email you send. In your e-mail program, go to sig file and create a short message consisting of a strong headline and sub head, or tag line, that motivates your recipients to click on your sig file, which takes them to an opt-in page for you ethical bribe.

  3. Opt-in form on every page of websites – Rather than force people to give you their name and email on a squeeze page, drive traffic directly to the main sales page and put an opt-in form on every page in the site. Thus, as you provide your visitors with more value, they are more and more likely to opt-in and with opt-in forms on every page, the conversion may be higher.

  4. Opt-in form on all outbound correspondence – On all outbound correspondence and mailing of product information, letters and communications, include a URL sending people to your ethical bribe. This leverages all the regular mailings and other things being sent from your office.
